Visiting Faculty at the Department of Dance, Rabindra Bharati University and the graded artist of Doordarshan Kendra, Kaberi is a devoted disciple of Guru Smt Aloka Kanungo. She is fortunate to attend workshops conducted by Late Padma Vibhushan Guru Shri Kelucharan Mahapatra, Padma Vibhushan Guru Smt Sonal Mansingh, Guru Smt Sujata Mohapatra. Besides Odissi Dance she has been learning Rabindranritya (Tagore’s idiom of Dance) under the strict supervision of Rabindranritya expert Guru Smt Poly Guha.
Kaberi was awarded National scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, Govt of India in the year 2002 and Rabindra Bharati University in 2005. She has been performing at several Dance & Music Festivals in India and abroad, like USA, Canada, Doha, Kuwait, Germany, France, England etc. Besides her performances she delivers lecture in various seminars and her articles are published in several books & journals. She completed her Ph.D in the field of Performing Arts from Rabindra Bharati University as the Senior Research Fellow of University Grants Commission. Kaberi has been teaching Odissi Dance & Tagore’s idiom of Dance at her own institution Divine Inspiration.
